About this job:

We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer. You will build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, and help keep our build and release processes reliable, scalable, and secure. You will work as part of a DevOps team. This is not a purely heads-down role: you will clarify requirements, ask the right questions, and explain technical decisions in clear English.

Location: Portugal, Spain, Poland, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine

How you'll make an impact:

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps);
  • Develop and improve automation that increases build and deployment reliability, speed, and consistency;
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) to speed up provisioning and keep environments consistent;
  • Deploy and support containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS / Azure AKS);
  • Administer and support Windows Server environments;
  • Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting (Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK, Splunk) to improve observability and reduce time to detect and resolve issues;
  • Troubleshoot production and pipeline issues and take part in root-cause analysis of incidents;
  • Apply security best practices (DevSecOps) across the build, release, and deployment lifecycle;
  • Review build and release processes with development teams and recommend improvements;
  • Find and resolve pain points and inefficiencies in the software delivery lifecycle;
  • Contribute to infrastructure cost optimization, backup and disaster recovery, working with the SysOps team;
  • Write and maintain technical documentation and runbooks;
  • Gather and clarify requirements with stakeholders, propose solutions, and report on progress and risks;
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams.

What makes you a great fit:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer;
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tooling and pipeline design for automated build, test, and deployment (Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab CI, Azure DevOps);
  • Solid experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or cloud-native equivalents such as EKS, AKS);
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation);
  • Proficiency in scripting for automation: Python, Bash, and PowerShell;
  • Windows Server administration experience;
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) across compute, storage, and networking;
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK, Splunk);
  • Experience with Linux administration;
  • Experience with Git-based workflows and Jira/Confluence; familiarity with Agile/Scrum.

You are a star if you have:

  • Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
  • GitOps experience (FluxCD, Argo CD); Packer; Artifactory/JFrog;
  • Experience migrating workloads from Windows to Linux;
  • Experience working with international clients.

If you're looking to contribute to global projects, grow your skills, shape the way you work, and be part of a connected international community — Customertimes is the place to build your next career chapter. Are you ready to spark the tech with us?
