The impact you will create:
- Build Cloud Services: Develop and maintain core STACKIT Cloud services using Go (Golang) and REST APIs running on Kubernetes.
- Continuous Growth: Receive structured hands-on training and mentorship in Go, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architecture from experienced senior engineers.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own features across the entire software lifecycle following the "You build it, you run it" DevOps philosophy.
- Architectural Collaboration: Participate in software architecture design in close collaboration with your team, turning concepts into scalable production code.
- Domain Integration: Join a dedicated engineering team in domains such as IaaS, Storage, Managed Databases, Distributed Cloud, or Runtime.
Experience and skills you will need:
- Education Status: You are a university student or graduate in Computer Science, a coding academy graduate, or a developer with a proven track record of practical software experience.
- Tech Basics: strong technical foundation, basic understanding of Git, containerization (Docker), internet protocols, databases, RESTful APIs, clean code principles, fundamental design patterns, and writing testable, maintainable software.
- System Curiosity: Interest spanning low-level concepts (Linux, networking) up to cloud orchestration (Kubernetes) and web services.
- Mindset: Quick grasp of new concepts, proactive problem-solving skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Business-fluent English skills to collaborate effectively in international, agile teams.
- Bonus: Prior internship, working student experience, or hands-on personal projects in cloud technologies.
