LANGSTON ANIMAL HOSPITAL is looking for another team member to help take care of our patients! Join a great team who work well together and take pride in patient care. Kennel attendant will help care for dogs and cats.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends as needed
- Must be able to work with pets of all types
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and or move objects up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must have reliable transportation as well as own valid driver's license
- Must have availability Monday-Friday and or Saturday (8am-12pm)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with patience and stamina
- Ability to work as part of a team with other dog lovers
Responsibilities:
Feed dogs and cats daily by providing clean, sanitary food, water, and toys. Maintain cleanliness of kennels. Clean up after each meal. Ensure all equipment is maintained and safe. This includes but is not limited to replacing water bottles, cleaning the cages, cleaning the kennel, emptying trash, etc.
- Be responsible for the care of the dogs and cats in their kennel environment. Clean up after each meal. Ensure all kennel areas are sanitized before leaving the daycare. Pick up after meals for dogs and cats that have left at lunchtime.
- Be responsible for the care of our dogs in their housing areas (kennel). Clean up after each meal. Ensure all kennel areas are sanitized before leaving the daycare. Pick up after meals for dogs that have left at lunchtime. Must be willing to work with other dog lovers.
