Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Kill Floor Worker. This position plays a crucial role in the processing and preparation of meat products in our facility.
Duties:
- Operate equipment and machinery on the kill floor for slaughtering animals
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations per USDA
- Perform quality checks on meat products
- Assist in the breakdown of carcasses
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Skills:
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail for quality control and USDA requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a meat processing environment
- Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
