Kindergarten Teaching Position – Westland School
Westland School is seeking a kind, compassionate, and positive Kindergarten Teacher to join our small public charter school. We are looking for someone who loves working with young children and enjoys creating a warm, joyful, and engaging classroom environment.

Position Details:
- Teacher contract hours: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 2:45 PM
- Teachers return: August 4
- First day of school for students: August 11
- Class size: 10–18 students
- Dedicated daily planning period
- Supportive instructional coach and team-based environment
- Ongoing professional development opportunities provided
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
- Collaborating with colleagues and administration
- Building strong, supportive partnerships with families
- Participating in school events, meetings, and continuous learning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
- Teaching credential and classroom experience (preferred)

- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
