Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Aide to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the overall efficiency of our food service operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and that our guests receive high-quality meals in a clean environment.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support cooks by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed.
- Buss tables and assist with dining room setup to ensure a pleasant dining experience for our residents
- Follow all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting such as a hotel, restaurant, or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
- A passion for food service and a willingness to learn new skills will be highly regarded.
