Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dough Maker/food/line prep, to join our AM BOH team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and food production. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, good time managment, ability to work solo and as a team, and the ability to multitask. As a Dough Maker, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards while ensuring all food prep and recipes meet the Woodward Pizza standers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix ingredients to create various types of dough, prepping all produce, and other inhouse recipe. Ensure all areas BOH and all lines are quality checked and controlled.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, oven and basic/common kitchen tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and food safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure good communication throughout all areas and shifts BOH.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production or preparation is preferred, with a focus on baking and pastry skills. Not required, will train in house.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques. Not required will train in house.
- Culinary experience in a kitchen environment is highly desirable, including restaurant or catering experience. Not required, will train in house.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
- A passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $7.50 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
