We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our kitchen staff team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate orders and special requests.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
- Basic cooking skills with a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
