Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting scientific research and ensuring quality control within our laboratory environment. Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting scientific research by preparing samples and conducting experiments under the supervision of senior laboratory staff.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that all laboratory processes meet established standards.
- Utilise Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and inventory.
- Conduct data analysis and interpret results to assist in the development of reports and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to laboratory protocols.
- Support general laboratory maintenance, including cleaning equipment and organising supplies.
Experience
- Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable, with a focus on scientific research or quality control.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and best practices in laboratory settings is beneficial.
