About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of labor and employment law experience, with strong writing, litigation, and case management skills. Public entity experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of labor & employment matters—both litigation and counseling
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery responses
- Manage cases from intake through trial prep, including depositions and strategy
- Advise clients on employment issues, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate effectively with internal legal teams and clients
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of labor & employment law experience (defense side)
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently
- Experience with public entity law is preferred, not required
- Active California Bar license in good standing

Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
