Job Summary
H&H Water Controls is a privately-owned, regional provider of environmental water testing services. We are looking to add a member to our environmental water testing services team to act in the capacity aas a laboratory analyst.
Essential Functions
· Conduct bench chemistry method analyses including colorimetric, gravimetric, potentiometric, and microbiological techniques.
· Operate a GC-MS to conduct analysis of metals, including all pre-digestion techniques and requirements.
· Advise the laboratory supervisor on issues regarding standards, methods, and other potential issues with sample analysis that may impact reporting or laboratory protocols.
· Assist fellow colleagues with reporting, sample logins, calibrations of field equipment, and education of clients on sampling techniques.
· Maintain clean safe working environment which includes the laboratory and the washing area.
· Assist with answering the telephone and greeting walk-ins.
· Complete all required paperwork, data entry, time keeping, accurately and timely.
· Participate in trainings when provided.
· Maintains confidentiality and access to all confidential information.

Job Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental science, or similar chemistry-based field of study with a minimum of 24 chemistry specific hours/credits required.
· One year experience with gas chromatography required. GC-MS preferred.
