Job Description
We are seeking an Labatory Technician to provide essential operational support to the US Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth coordination across scientific teams, global sites, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational support within the US DMPK Department.
- Collaborate with on-site scientific teams, European colleagues, and external suppliers such as CROs to ensure timely and efficient processing of requests.
- Includes: processing of requests, study planning, result integration, and resolving issues
- Support the implementation of tools and processes that enhance team communication and operational efficiency.
- Track training assignments and ensure compliance with internal requirements.
- Execute a variety of operational tasks, including:
- Shipping and receiving of samples
- Setting up purchase orders, managing purchasing and invoicing, tracking spend, and assisting with budget documentation
- Ensuring timely receipt and review of data and input into digital platforms
- Drafting memos and non-scientific communications
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in operations support within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industries
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

- Experience managing projects in a global matrix/team environment
- Ability to identify operational issues, assess risks, and contribute to resolution and mitigation strategies
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and building strong cross-functional relationships
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices
- Quick to learn new systems and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Comfortable working under tight timelines and in evolving organizational environments
- Foundational knowledge of data structures

Additional Details:
This is a full-time, onsite position based on a first-shift schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with overtime required as needed. Candidates located within a commutable distance to Cambridge, MA are strongly encouraged to apply.
