Position Title: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Schedule: Full-Time, Tuesday–Saturday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Position Summary:
Coordinated Care Health Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. This role involves performing a variety of technical laboratory functions to support patient care and medication compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, immunology, and microbiology.
- Accurately report test results in accordance with clinic protocols, including prompt notification of abnormal findings to providers or nursing staff.
- Ensure proper specimen collection, sampling integrity, and accurate documentation.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring sterility and operational readiness.
- Adhere to all laboratory policies, CLIA standards, and OSHA regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of medical laboratory principles, procedures, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with CLIA and OSHA regulations.
- Proficient in the use and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Strong communication skills
- Able to Multi-task a must.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in a Physical or Biological Science (or higher) preferred.
- Prior experience in clinical laboratory testing, including specimen preparation and result reporting.
- Experience in hematology and blood chemistry is highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a well-lit, climate-controlled laboratory environment.
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting and standing, as well as occasional stooping, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Manual dexterity and coordination are essential.
Certification & Licensure:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must maintain continuing education (CE) requirements.
- MLT (ASCP) certification preferred.
- (Must present required Certification, degree, Licensure upon Hire)
