Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape design and maintenance. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. The Landscape Technician will collaborate with team members to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.
Duties
- Perform landscape installation tasks, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Maintain existing landscapes through mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete landscaping tasks.
- Assist in the construction of hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Work with masonry techniques to create durable landscape features.
- Utilize carpentry skills for projects involving wood structures like decks or garden beds.
- Install glass features as needed in landscape designs.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate implementation of landscape plans.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
Skills
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge of construction site protocols and safety measures.
- Experience in masonry work is a plus for creating hardscape elements.
- Trim carpentry skills are beneficial for constructing wooden features in landscapes.
- Ability to weld for creating custom metal elements within landscape designs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with roof structures may be required for specific landscaping projects involving elevation changes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately from schematics.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
