We are looking for a skilled and reliable landscaper to join our team. As a landscaper, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces for both commercial and residential properties. You will be tasked with performing a range of general landscaping duties including planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and mowing lawns. You will also be responsible for keeping outdoor spaces safe, clean, and visually appealing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general landscaping tasks, including mowing lawns, pruning trees and bushes, planting flowers and shrubs, and watering plants.
- Install and maintain landscape features such as retaining walls, walkways, and garden beds.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws.
- Maintain outdoor areas by removing debris, cleaning walkways, and keeping the landscape aesthetically pleasing.
- Ensure the safety of outdoor areas by identifying and reporting hazards such as overhanging branches, broken fences, or damaged walkways.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and to their satisfaction.
Requirements (Some preferred not required):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in general landscaping or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs commonly used in landscaping.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
