Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, ensuring that all outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well-kept. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a passion for working outdoors.
Duties
- Perform regular groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Maintain flower beds, gardens, and other landscaped areas by planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various landscaping tasks.
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration and growth of plants.
- Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor spaces to maintain cleanliness.
- Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
- Assist in seasonal landscape projects such as planting new flowers or trees and preparing grounds for winter.
Skills
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilization, and pest control.
- Familiarity with hand tools (e.g., rakes, shovels) and power tools (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers).
- Ability to irrigate effectively and maintain healthy landscapes through proper watering techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance in outdoor spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions while standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
