Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring all linens and clothing are cleaned, pressed, and properly stored.
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and store linens and clothing
- Operate laundry machinery in accordance with safety standards
- Inspect linens and clothing for stains or damage
- Handle guests' personal laundry with care and confidentiality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
- Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and inform when low
Skills
- Experience in hotel or dry cleaning laundry operations preferred
- Ability to operate laundry equipment efficiently
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their appropriate cleaning methods
- Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
