Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all laundry items, including linens, towels, and guest clothing. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected in our facility, particularly in a hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
- Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote a safe working environment.
- Inspect items for damage or stains and report any issues to management.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and towels.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing job duties.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment used in laundry operations.
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
