The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel. Weekend laundry is critical to the supply of clean towels, bedsheets, and cleaning rags for the next day's housekeepers.
Responsibilities:
- Sort all linens and treat stains
- Load all laundry into the washer and select the specified cleaning agents on the screen
- Take wet, clean items and dry as directed
- Sort and fold clean dried items
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to the Housekeeping manager
- Notify the maintenance department of any equipment malfunction or repair needs
- Perform additional laundry services when necessary
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
- Consistent and reliable
- Must be 18 or older
- Multi-tasking skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
