Overview
We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and lawn care, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to grounds maintenance and landscaping.
Duties
- Job Requirements -Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Assist in snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Operate irrigation systems and perform maintenance as needed
- Assist in building and installing landscape features
- Properly and safely use power tools for various landscaping tasks
- Maintain gardens by planting, pruning, and fertilizing as required
- Digging, planting, and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers
- Provide lawn care services including seeding, aerating, and watering
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issue
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools commonly used in landscaping work- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Knowledge of basic horticulture practices is a plus
