Job Summary
The Shop Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the shop, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of construction management principles. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction management software and a proven track record of supervising teams on construction sites.
Duties
- Supervise and manage shop personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation to meet deadlines effectively.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with specifications and OSHA regulations.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the shop.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shop management with a focus on supervising teams in a shop environment. Keep cost efficient inventory. Keep track of inventory.
- Experience on CUmmins engines and Eaton transmission.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in the oilfield trucking industry.
- Know how to change clutches, wheel seals, wheel bearings.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to run a 8 man shop crew.
- Keep up with mechanics schedule and weekly hours.
- Keep a clean area and workspace safe.
- Give weekly or daily reports on shop hands to ether replace or give disciplinary actions towards them.
- Keep up with Verizon Fleet Maintenance tracker along with a well kept maintenance schedule
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
