The Logistics Team Lead manages the flow of materials throughout the company, ensuring inventory is accurate, operations run smoothly, and resources are used efficiently. This role is key to keeping warehouse operations organized, reducing costs, and maintaining safety and compliance.
You Will:
- Lead, train, and support logistics personnel in daily operations.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance.
- Promote a positive and safe work environment.
- Oversee receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory records.
- Coordinate with ADHOC team on deliveries, shipments, and returns with internal teams and external partners.
- Excellent organization, analytical, and communication abilities
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using SAP or SMARTSHEET systems.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Communicating with GSM'S along with Engineers on received inventory or sample parts.
- Order picking and returning stock to inventory.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure correct use of PPE and equipment
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Support implementation of lean logistics or other efficiency initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff members.
You Bring:
- 2 plus years in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations (1+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred).
- High school diploma or GED required; logistics/supply chain certifications or an associate degree is a plus.
- Proven experience operating and overseeing the use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP, SAP, SMARTSHEET).
- Knowledge of inventory control, shipping methods, and warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organization, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Skilled in data analysis, Excel, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive operational improvements.
