A Brief Overview
The Learning & Development manager is responsible for supporting Tanner's core value of Education through developing and implementing innovative learning solutions throughout the employee career cycle. The manager works collaboratively to plan, develop and deliver effective education programs and initiatives that are aligned with organizational goals, industry best practices and regulatory accreditation requirements.
What you will do
- Supports Tanner's core value of education through development and implementation of learning solutions throughout the employee career cycle including career exploration, new hire orientation, competency and skill development, compliance training, continuing education and career development
- Collaborates with leadership, key stakeholders and educators throughout the system to develop, implement and maintain education programs and initiatives consistent with overall organizational strategy, industry best practices and regulatory accreditation requirements
- Drives ongoing learning needs analysis and evaluation of training programs to ensure program effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvement
- Supervises departmental staff. Models best practices in employee feedback, development and performance management.
- Serves as learning consultant to employees and managers. Serves as a subject matter expert on various organizational committees and work teams.
- Develops and implements a training communication strategy
- Monitors daily departmental operations. Assists with development of departmental budget and reporting to support data-driven decision making, innovative expense reduction and increased efficiency.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree
- Three years of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures Required
