Delaware Valley Concrete Company is seeking a reliable and skilled Loader Operator / Laborer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a front-end loader and be comfortable performing general labor tasks around the plant. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a wheel loader safely and efficiently
- Assist with the general upkeep, safety, and cleanliness of the plant, including manual labor duties
- Support plant maintenance projects as needed
- Follow safety protocols and promptly report any safety concerns to the Plant Manager
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and working at heights
Physical Requirements
- Lift and/or move more than 50 pounds regularly
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Use hands to operate tools and controls
- Reach with arms and hands; climb stairs/ladders up to 100 feet
- Balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as necessary
Qualifications
- Experience operating a front-end loader (required)
- Familiarity with other types of heavy equipment (a plus)
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
