Our Company is looking for a route driver to deliver product in the Spokane/CDA area. Our Company is based out of Hayden, ID. Routes consist of 40-80 stops including a mix of business and residential customers.
Coeur D Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, And Spokane
Driver Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Driving experience in commercial vehicles (NON CDL)
- Extensive knowledge of the area
- Must be 21 with a valid driver's license
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Ability to operate vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
- Ability to identify potential maintenance problems (basic mechanical knowledge)
- Able to lift over 90 lbs continuously
- Able to run a basic handheld device for deliveries & complete delivery paperwork
- Driver must be flexible and versatile
- Deliver items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow route and time schedule
- Prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints in a professional manner
- Collect payments
- Inform customers on products and services
- Complete daily vehicle inspections reports and other reports as required
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Work four 10 hour days weekends off
