Do you have experience with provisioning and logistics in a military or DoD environment? Are you interested in a 9/80 work shift with every other Friday off giving you a 3 day weekend twice a month? In this important role as our Logistics Analyst, you'll be responsible for execute provisioning effort for assigned programs, including research, development, preparation, loading, manipulation and maintenance of provisioning parts data. Your day to day activities will include:
- Preparing provisioning documentation for delivery to internal/external customers using provisioning and sparing techniques and technologies.
- Developing various provisioning and Logistics Support Analysis Records documentation in accordance with applicable military standards.
- Preparing technical portion of spare parts lists, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB), Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL), and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).
- And you may be asked to analyze spare and repair part requirements and provide project estimates and complete other tasks, depending on your skill levels and abilities.
Success in this role will require:
- US Citizenship is required
- Relevant Associate degree + additional 6 years' experience; or relevant Bachelor degree or additional 2 years' experience. Military experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Detailed knowledge of applicable Military Standards used for development of LMI data.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Ability to define and/or forecast support requirements.
- Must be familiar with logistics design influence.
- Skilled with computer software and tools for LMI related activities.
- Ability to plan and document using LSA/LSAR, the development, testing and deployment of logistics resources, as an integral part of the acquisition process.
- Ability to conduct external/internal customer meetings, validations/verifications, log demos, LSA/LSAR reviews, in-process reviews, etc.
- Computer literate with experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and Military Standards.
- Awareness or basic understanding of the ten ILS elements
- Experience with relevant LMI applications in a defense environment is preferred
