Functions:
- To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.
- Receive training as required.
- Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.
Tasks:
- Enter all needed information in EIM and Safety Chain/Plant view.
- Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.
- Read the daily schedule and determine polar sequence.
- Identify proper binder is added for each polar if needed.
- Verify Stuffing schedule and communicate with lead to determine the order that the polar will be unloaded and to which line.
- Inspect all discharge belts and magnets after every batch.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Be able to set-up and teardown and wash equipment.
- Complete all required production documents and submit to supervisor.
- Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The Team Member is frequently required to walk.
- The Team Member is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and extreme cold.
- The Team Member will work in an environment where the noise level is usually loud.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 months continuous work history with the same employer.
- 6 months of machine operator experience.
