Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring quality production, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operations and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced factory setting.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, including press brake machines and lathes, to ensure efficient production processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Handle materials effectively, including loading and unloading packages as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company standards.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with machine operation, including press brake machines and lathes, is highly desirable.
- Skills in blueprint reading and materials handling are advantageous.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- A solid understanding of basic math concepts is essential for this role.
