RHI Magnesita is seeking a reliable and physically capable Machine Operator to join our production team. This role involves loading and unloading refractory materials, palletizing products, and operating equipment within shuttle kiln tunnels. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tools and mechanical equipment, and forklift operation is a strong plus
What You’ll Do
- Load and unload refractory products into and out of shuttle kilns.
- Palletize materials and prepare them for transport or storage.
- Operate mechanical tools such as grinders, air ratchets, and air guns.
- Assist with tunnel loading and unloading processes.
- Perform team lifts and safely handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety procedures and report any equipment or process issues
What You Bring
- Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; team lifting required for heavier items.
- Forklift experience (sit-down automatic) is a strong plus.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working around industrial equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
