The Maintenance Area Manager is responsible for achieving key organizational goals of the distribution center through the efficient use of staff and systems on a day-to-day operational basis. In this role, you will own the implementation and execution of all Maintenance programs, policies, and systems at our Camp Hill, PA distribution center. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Maintenance department, ensuring operational efficiencies through building maintenance Provide effective supervision of team members and assist them with ongoing development Monitor and ensure compliance of departmental, facility, and company policies and procedures including through the quality control of technicians' work Review and approve all team members' time entries in timekeeping and production management systems Own safety performance for all direct reports and lead any EHS event investigation to closure Actively participate in programs and committees that are proactive in preventing EHS, quality, and team engagement occurrences Communicate information to manager, safety director, or HR as needed Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings while ensuring compliance to EHS, quality, and employee relations guidelines Qualifications Associates Degree or higher in Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent years of work related experience preferred Two plus years of management experience in a distribution center environment preferred Experience in Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred Previous knowledge of automated DC Systems and current RF technology preferred Comprehensive experience working with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Strong reasoning, analytical, and organizational skills Teamwork and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with different levels within the organization Ability to learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all operating systems and processes Ability to read, write, operate computer, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required Ability to work in a fast paced environment Adapt to new working conditions and be able to work a flexible schedule including increased peak season hours as needed Demonstrated knowledge of repairing and maintaining physical structure and all support enhancements. e.g., material handling equipment, conveyor, plumbing and electrical systems #LI-TH1 Benefits The annual base salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 / yr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
