We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform high-level troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of machines and systems. This role supports engineering and plant operations by specifying, installing, and modifying integrated systems while providing technical support across all operational phases. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, food quality, and regulatory standards.

This role supports engineering and plant operations by specifying, installing, and modifying integrated systems while providing technical support across all operational phases. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, food quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Assist plant teams and engineering with system installations and upgrades.
- Maintain proper certification and documentation for all equipment, including scales, per Tyson Foods, USDA, and state requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and management.
- Comply with all company safety standards, including lockout/tagout and confined space protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
- 2+ years in automation or industrial maintenance
- Strong background in electrical safety, lockout/tagout, PLC and microprocessor troubleshooting
Technical Skills:
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gears, belts, and seals
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong documentation and research skills
- Experience with or ability to learn SAP Maintenance software
Communication & Other Skills:
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong teamwork and ability to work independently
