Maintenance & Facility Lead – Park Operations/Grounds
Summary of Position:
The Maintenance Team Member keeps the magic going behind the scenes at Scooby Doo Mystery Putt’s. You’ll be responsible for making sure everything works, looks great, and stays safe—from the mini golf course and gem mine to the patio and concessions. You'll take charge of all maintenance and repairs, keep the entire park spotless, coordinate with outside service vendors, and make sure we're always stocked with the supplies needed to keep the fun flowing. If something’s broken, dirty, or off-schedule, you’re already on it.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs across the entire property (mini golf course, gem mine, patio, concessions, common areas).
- Keep the park spotless—trash-free, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
- Troubleshoot and repair lighting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and minor construction issues.
- Coordinate and schedule all third-party vendors including:
– Landscaping/lawn care
– Lighting and sound systems
– Security and alarm services
– Professional cleaners
- Monitor and maintain all tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory.
- Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies regularly—always ensure we have what we need before we need it.
- Complete routine inspections of all attractions and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, services, and vendor visits.
- Respond to urgent maintenance needs quickly and professionally.
- Collaborate with management to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize work orders.
- Maintain outdoor spaces (including patios and walkways) for safety and guest appeal.
- Ensure all maintenance areas are clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Assist in setting up or breaking down for special events and parties as needed.
- Support team members and management with facility needs.
- Uphold a high standard of safety and cleanliness in every area of the park.
Qualifications:
- Prior maintenance or facility experience required (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to be on your feet and physically active for most of the shift.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must adhere to appearance and safety guidelines.
- Must love creating a clean, safe, and smooth-running space for families to have fun.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
