Job Details:
Pay Range: $19.65 - $28.10; Shift Pay: $2.00 or $3.00
Description:
This position will perform task involving welding, cutting, minor electrical repair, removing and replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water and steam pipes, lines and systems in an industrial environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks:
Requires knowledge in areas of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, plumbing and boilers. Must be able to use basic hand tools. Require basic mechanical or maintenance skills. Must be able to lift 60 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 30 feet. Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Will be required to obtain the certification and operate a forklift, skid-steer loader and man-lift. Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations. Must have the ability to document information. Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally. Requirements:
Must be willing to work A, B, C or D shift. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Applicants who have worked for Tyson three times will not be considered. Minimum 6 month waiting period from previous Tyson employment. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening which is part of the post-offer health assessment. Applications are only active for the current month in which you applied. Applicant will need to reapply next month and have an active application to be considered for employment.
Must have industrial maintenance skills, knowledge or work history listed on application or resume.
