DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, we will rely on your wide range of mechanical knowledge to detect, locate, diagnose, install, fabricate, and perform repairs. You will provide steady and valuable assistance to our electricians, carpenters, and maintenance foreman in a variety of projects to keep our offices functional and comfortable. Work involves the skilled use of general hand and power tools, driving to pick up supplies, and the ability follow general instruction and work from plans and diagrams. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
  • Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirements:
  • You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
