Job Overview
A local property management company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This is not a 9-5 job, we are looking to fill positions that are able to work a mixture of shifts (Days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a app called Property Care X that works directly with our reservations system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations within the facility.
- Painting / Patching / Caulking
- Installing door locks and balcony door handles
- Garbage disposal changeouts
- Shower valves, faucet change outs, valve stems.
- Toilet parts, fill valves, flappers, wax rings, flanges, etc...
- Clogged drains
The ideal candidate would have a basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks such as:
- Programming TV remotes
- Changing TV's
- Hanging Blinds
- Painting / Patching
Occasionally we will have appliance and furniture change outs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Technician role is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- This role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks on a regular basis. These include, but are not limited to: lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, working in confined spaces, operating power tools, and performing repetitive motions.
- All employees must be able to pass a BACKGROUND and DRUG screening test. Everything must be clean no exceptions.
Salary or hourly pay will be discussed and is based off experience.

- There are also opportunities to make extra money if you want to handle on-call after-hours work orders. These would be major issues only (Door locks, electrical, leaks, etc.)
- Sign-On Bonus - potential candidates will be eligible for a $500 Sign-On Bonus and will be paid out after 120 days of employment.
