Mobile Maintenance Technicians (Contract – 1099)
We are seeking skilled and reliable Mobile Maintenance Technicians to support properties across Southwest to Northwest Ohio—from Cincinnati up to Toledo. These are 1099 contracted positions with payment upon evidence of task completion.
Technicians will be dispatched for daily maintenance tasks based on work orders and must be able to complete unit turnovers efficiently. A truck or reliable work vehicle is required. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders for general maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, etc.) across multiple locations.
- Handle unit turnovers, including repairs, painting, cleaning coordination, and light renovations.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks as needed throughout the region.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and submit documentation for payment.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and property requirements.
- Communicate effectively with property management and tenants to resolve issues professionally.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in general maintenance, property repair, or related trades.
- Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
- Ability to complete painting, light carpentry, and plumbing tasks.
- Must have a truck or work vehicle to transport tools and materials.
- Familiarity with turnover processes (patching walls, flooring repair, fixture replacement, etc.).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks promptly.
Compensation
- 1099 Contract Role
