Job Description
As an Maintenance Technician I, you will:
- Complete preventive maintenance, guest service calls, engineering projects, and general repairs (painting, caulking, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and electronic issues, including basic component replacements.
- Install, program, and troubleshoot TVs, remotes, and other in-room tech devices.
- Assist with inventory checks and ensure materials, parts, and tools are available.
- Use hand/power tools and software systems (e.g., HotSOS) safely and effectively, including working at heights with proper PPE.
- Identify hazards, follow safety protocols, and comply with all resort policies and procedures.
- Interact positively with guests and staff, maintain a professional appearance, and support resort leadership with assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Up to 1 year of experience in Engineering/Maintenance/Trades operations within a resort or commercial environment.
- Must communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and resort leadership.
- Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
- Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to various tasks, perform effectively under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Regularly, the team member must lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.
