The Apartment Makeready Technician works as part of the maintenance team in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. Will provide a wide variety of repairs to ensure that all units are up to standard for new resident move-ins.
Responsibilities (shall include but not limited to):
- Responsible for preparing vacant apartments for move-ins
- Ensure all appliances are operational and in good condition
- Will handle on-call duties once a month
- Remove trash from the office and common areas
- Assist with any maintenance tasks that are needed
- Assist in the cleaning and maintaining of the common areas
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and potential tenants
- Must have own tools
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proficiency in appliance repair, drywall repair, electrical repair, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
- Basic Carpentry skill for minor top and base cabinet repairs
- Possess a minimum of 3 years in Residential turnkey
- The ideal candidate should have between 2-3 years of Residential Interior Ceiling and Cabinet Paint, Drywall Patch, Prime, Mud, Tape, and Texture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Previous experience in property management or maintenance roles is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree is a plus
- Valid Driver’s license is required
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
