Rockwell Care Services is looking for a dynamic Male House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at one of our Pocatello residential group homes. This is a full time position (40 hours a week) overseeing the care individuals with disabilities in a private residence, and overseeing the care and shift coverage in the home. This full-time position and requires flexibility in work schedule, and required to be on-call. Very competitive wage!
The House Manager would have a normal full time shift (40 hours a week) working in the home directly with the individuals; and in addition to their normal schedule, the House Manager is responsible for ensuring the home has 24 hour 7 day a week staff coverage. Should an employee not show up for their assigned shift the House Manager would be responsible for covering that shift themselves.
The House manager would have the full support of the office staff when it comes to staffing, recruiting, HR issues, and scheduling; however at the end of the day if there is an unassigned shift, the House Manager is responsible for that coverage.
The ideal candidate should have strong initiative, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to be creative, while managing multiple priorities in a busy residence. The successful candidate will be able to maintain effective relationships with individuals, families, staff, and the Office.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment in the home
- Monitor all direct care staff on cares, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Promote Rockwell Care Services values and strategic vision
- Ensure 24/7 coverage in the home
- Monitor Individual Service Plans and compliance with documentation
- Ensure oversight of Health & Fire Safety
- Manage crisis situations and behavioral issues as the needs arise
- Manage the home maintenance, and report any issues to the office
- Diligent in complying with Rockwell Care Services policies, rules and regulations

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Med Tech certified preferred.
- One years experience working with individuals with disabilities
- 6 months supervisory experience
- Strong managerial skills and written and verbal communication skills
- Clean and valid Idaho driver's license
- Strong Microsoft Office computer skills
