Manager, CPO Office
Job description
We are seeking a highly organised, strategic, and results-oriented Manager to support the CPO Office in driving the Product strategy and key business priorities.
Reporting to the Director, CPO Office, the role will translate strategic direction into actionable plans, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and ensure high-quality execution. The Manager will drive selected strategic initiatives, support governance and portfolio management, and prepare analysis and communications for senior leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project management skills, with the ability to bring structure to complex topics and drive progress across teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the Product strategy, translating priorities into clear plans, milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive selected strategic projects and workstreams on behalf of the CPO Office, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and on-time delivery.
- Manage governance processes, leadership forums, and portfolio reviews, ensuring key decisions, actions, risks, and dependencies are clearly captured and followed through.
- Conduct strategic analysis, scenario modelling, and business assessments to support leadership decision-making and prioritisation.
- Prepare high-quality executive presentations, decision papers, business cases, and updates for senior leadership and Board reviews.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, resolve issues, and accelerate execution.
- Coordinate across global, regional, and local teams to ensure strategic initiatives are commercially relevant, operationally feasible, and supported by clear accountability.
- Establish robust PMO practices and continuously improve planning, reporting, governance, and ways of working across the Product organisation.
- Support the Director in managing external consultants, research partners, and other specialist resources when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Strategy, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- 5-8 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business transformation, strategic PMO, product strategy, or a related field.
- Experience working in a complex, cross-functional, and international organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguity and translate analysis into clear recommendations.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working at pace across multiple priorities.
