As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Manager to lead our internal sales function and ensure top-tier service and results across our customer base.
Summary
The Inside Sales Manager will oversee A4’s internal sales operations, managing a team of inside sales representatives responsible for inbound and outbound sales activities, account maintenance, customer engagement, and support. This role is critical to driving revenue growth, increasing customer retention, and supporting our field sales team. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic oversight, process optimization, and team coaching skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, and coach a team of inside sales representatives
- Develop and execute inside sales strategies to support overall sales goals
- Monitor daily performance metrics, call activity, and order volume
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts
- Support onboarding of new accounts and act as a liaison for account management
- Coordinate with field sales, customer service, and operations to ensure smooth order flow and customer satisfaction
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Oversee CRM usage, sales tracking, and reporting
- Train team on product knowledge, communication techniques, and sales tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of inside sales or account management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Background in apparel, B2B distribution, or sporting goods industry preferred
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
