About the Role

The Procurement Manager is a strategic business partner responsible for developing and executing sourcing, supplier, and category strategies across a diverse portfolio of spend categories. This role requires a commercially minded individual who can balance governance, value creation, and speed of execution while supporting evolving business priorities.

The successful candidate will be highly adaptable, intellectually curious, and comfortable operating in environments where priorities, requirements, and ways of working continue to evolve. They will use sound judgment to bring appropriate structure and discipline where needed, while maintaining a practical and flexible approach when partnering with stakeholders.

This role is responsible for leading procurement activities, supplier relationship management, and category strategy development across an assigned scope that includes marketing services, production-related support activities, travel and meetings services, menu printing, and other categories as business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

  • Independently manage procurement activities across assigned categories.
  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives and deliver commercial value.
  • Support ATL marketing execution through management of creative agencies and related marketing services providers.
  • Support production planning and execution activities through supplier engagement, sourcing support, commercial evaluations, and risk management.
  • Lead procurement activities across travel and meetings services, ensuring effective supplier governance and value delivery.
  • Manage sourcing activities related to menu printing and other assigned categories.
  • Identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes, supplier performance, operational effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Lead sourcing events, negotiations, contract discussions, renewals, and supplier selection activities as appropriate.
  • Evaluate market dynamics, industry trends, supplier capabilities, and business requirements to inform decision-making.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Own supplier relationships and governance activities within assigned categories.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with strategic and key suppliers to drive value, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor supplier performance expectations, service levels, and business outcomes.
  • Lead supplier business reviews and performance discussions.
  • Proactively identify and address supplier-related risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve challenges and support business objectives.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business priorities and translate those needs into practical procurement solutions.
  • Provide commercial guidance and procurement expertise to support informed business decisions.
  • Balance stakeholder needs, governance requirements, risk considerations, and speed of execution.
  • Influence decisions through strong communication, sound judgment, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Act as a solutions-oriented partner who helps create clarity and direction in evolving business environments.

Continuous Improvement & Team Support

  • Support broader Procurement initiatives at the local and global level.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify ways of working and improve business processes where appropriate.
  • Provide category, supplier, and market insights that support planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Procurement colleagues to leverage best practices, supplier insights, and category expertise.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend visibility activities in partnership with Finance and business stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, supplier management, or a related commercial function.
  • Demonstrated experience managing suppliers, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and exercise sound judgment when requirements, priorities, or processes are still evolving.
  • Demonstrated ability to create practical and scalable ways of working without relying on unnecessarily rigid processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and enterprise procurement systems.

Preferred

  • Experience managing marketing services, agency relationships, travel and meetings services, print services, or other indirect procurement categories.
  • Experience working within a matrixed organization and partnering with local and global stakeholders.
  • Experience leading supplier performance management and strategic supplier relationships.

  • Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 + Annual Bonus
