Job description

You’re ready to work on everything from city-shaping work, to delivering smaller-scale projects that connect regions and improve local communities.

You're a forward thinker who sees potential where others don't. You'll have the chance to shape and transform urban spaces, contribute to sustainable development and create vibrant, liveable communities for future generations to enjoy.

In this role, you'll:

Managing a team delivering State-road infrastructure works, with a specific focus on Renewable Energy projects, while protecting Transport for NSW assets and maintaining road safety and network efficiency.

This role will see you lead a team of Project/Contract Officers, work constructively with developers, government agencies and local Councils, manage and negotiate Works Authorisation Deeds (WADs), oversee developer proposals, designs and works, administer professional service contracts, and drive safety, environmental, quality and performance outcomes while building team capability and supporting business plan delivery.

You will lead road safety, network efficiency and asset protection outcomes in a complex development, construction and stakeholder environment balancing commercial pressures, statutory compliance, community expectations and Renewable Energy project delivery.

The role is demanding and requires an understanding of development construction and the ability to negotiate with stakeholders to keep projects moving. Managing an ever-changing environment of project deadlines, construction risks and team dynamics are also key requirements of the position.
