JOB TITLE: Manager, Strategic Growth- Ophthalmology

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Manager, Strategic Growth Ophthalmology will be responsible for expanding DigitalOptometrics
reach into the ophthalmology sector, identifying and securing partnerships with ophthalmologists and
ophthalmology practices. This role is essential in introducing and integrating DigitalOptometrics remote eye exam technology into ophthalmology services and private equity ophthalmology groups.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, or healthcare partnerships, with a deep understanding of ophthalmology practice operations.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifies and establishes relationships with ophthalmologists, ophthalmology practices, and
specialty eye care providers to introduce DigitalOptometrics' services. -
Develops a strategic roadmap for integrating DigitalOptometrics' remote eye exam technology
into ophthalmology services. -
Educates potential partners on the value of tele-optometry and AI-driven diagnostic support in
ophthalmology. -
Conducts market research to assess the needs, pain points, and opportunities for
ophthalmologists in adopting remote eye care solutions. - Builds and maintains a pipeline of prospective ophthalmology partners using HubSpot CRM.
- Guides lead through the sales funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups and progress tracking.
- Develops customized business proposals, ROI models, and implementation plans for prospective partners.

Attends ophthalmology conferences, trade shows, and industry events to generate leads and
represent DigitalOptometrics. -
Networks with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and decision-makers to drive adoption of
DigitalOptometrics' technology. -
Presents at industry panels or webinars to establish thought leadership in ophthalmic telehealth
solutions. -
Delivers compelling presentations and product demonstrations to ophthalmologists and key
stakeholders. -
Organizes remote or in-person meetings with clinical and administrative teams to address
questions and highlight DigitalOptometrics' impact on ophthalmology practices. - Leads potential partners through the evaluation, proposal, and contract negotiation process.

Works closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of
DigitalOptometrics services. -
Maintains detailed records of client interactions, partnership progress, and deal status in
HubSpot. - Provides regular reports on market expansion efforts, partnership success, and key industry trends.
- Documents feedback from potential partners to refine DigitalOptometrics' value proposition and market strategy.

Experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, ideally within
ophthalmology or healthcare technology. - Proven ability to sell solutions to medical professionals and healthcare organizations.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
preferred. - Equivalent work experience in ophthalmology sales or business development may be considered.
Experience:

5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships, preferably in
healthcare, medical devices, or ophthalmology. - Proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing B2B healthcare partnerships.
- Experience working with ophthalmology, optometry, telehealth, or medical technology solutions is highly preferred.

Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement models, vision care services, and clinical workflows
in ophthalmology practices. - Previous experience introducing new products, services, or solutions into the medical market is a strong plus.

Demonstrated experience in conference networking, lead generation, and relationship-building
with healthcare professionals. - Hands-on experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and sales pipeline management.

Prior experience working with ophthalmologists, eye care networks, or specialty healthcare
providers is a plus. - Previous conference representation and industry networking experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard
potential. -
Access to a fast and reliable hardwired internet connection with a minimum of
10 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download speeds. - A quiet, professional work area free of distractions.
