Eastside Machine Company is seeking a Manufacturing Paint Technician to join our fast-paced machine shop team. In this position, you will prepare and apply finish coatings on manufactured products and components. You will be responsible for ensuring parts are powder coated properly and according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards and effectively monitoring parts from beginning to end. If you are mechanically inclined, dependable, and hardworking with a critical eye for detail, then this is the job for you!

Responsibilities
- Operate all powder coat equipment, including ovens, pressure washer, and electrostatic spray gun
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating by washing, pretreating, and masking metal parts
- Operate and maintain electrostatic spray guns or fluidized bed systems to apply powder coatings evenly
- Conduct quality checks to ensure the finished product meets company standards
- Receive and verify part counts and prepare parts for shipping
- Maintain equipment as needed
- Utilize computer systems for time and materials
- Comply with all company safety requirements and procedures
Requirements
- Painting or powder coating experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Capacity to read and interpret production blueprints
- Attention to detail to produce high-quality finishes
- Ability to operate a forklift safely
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace, and follow all company safety requirements
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Troubleshoot as needed
