Job Purpose
The Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the Marketing Department with daily administrative tasks, preparing promotional materials, organizing, and editing photos, and coordinating materials and campaigns related to the company’s marketing efforts.
Essential Duties Responsibilities
- Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions.
- Assist in PowerPoint presentation development.
- Assist in development of print materials as requested.
- Mine and organize photos for marketing photo library.
- Assist in creation of written, video, and image content for social media channels.
- When skills permit: provide artwork/photoshop services for department and company-wide initiatives.
- Run Errands as needed.
- Special projects and other duties may arise.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed Junior Year in High School. Interest in advertising, marketing, business administration, or closely related field.
- A strong candidate should possess self-motivation, flexibility, ability to multi-task, creativity, and a customer service mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with programs: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with programs: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier.
- Aptitude with various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram).
- Organization and time management skills.
