McFarland Johnson has an outstanding opportunity/paid internship for a Marketing Intern to join our fast-paced team in our Hollywood, FL office location. As an intern, you will have an opportunity to work on a variety of multi-disciplinary engineering and planning projects and gain valuable experience in marketing research, content creation, event planning, and social media management. This position offers a unique opportunity to partner with our technical experts and Project Managers to develop winning proposal strategies with our clients and to grow your career.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist in the creation of marketing content and supporting graphics for proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral
- Update and assist in management of the CRM/client database
- Develop and promote company's social media content, including creating and scheduling posts
- Assist in planning networking events and conferences, including coordination and shipping of marketing materials and developing supporting marketing collateral
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives and projects
- Develop project award posters / submissions
- Research market opportunities
- Support other general Administrative and Business Development functions
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with databases, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Adobe Photoshop and desktop publishing (InDesign) a plus
- Attention to Detail: Skilled in proofreading and editing content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with MJ's style guide and client requirements.
- Work Style: High energy with strong work ethic, flexibility, and creative approach to deliverables
- Interests: Passion for the architecture, engineering, and construction industry is a plus
This is a paid internship, working approximately 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate coursework with opportunity to grow into a regular, full-time position post-graduation.
