In this role, you have the responsibility to protect the identity of the Bobcat brand; overseeing production, asset management, facility branding, as well as supporting the evolution of our brand expression. Your role will focus on enhancing clarity and efficiency in managing the creative aspects of the Bobcat brand, while protecting and managing the brand image, playing a crucial role in the governance, development, and execution.
Role & Responsibility
Brand Leadership & Alignment
- Serve as a brand representative and a vital partner to the greater organization that offers a consistent and confident voice that positions our brand across all areas of the business, ensuring alignment with impactful, innovative, and inspiring corporate brand identity.
- Serve as a steward and trusted advisor to all levels of the organization through clear and strategic guidance on brand identity, within a fast-paced environment.
- Establish company-wide brand audits for consistency and ongoing compliance and opportunity for advancement of our brand in new spaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Bobcat creative assets adhere to guidelines and standards and to align campaign strategies with overarching brand objectives.
- Manage the Brand Book, Guidelines and Toolkit:
- Lead the maintenance of comprehensive Brand Book, Guidelines, and Toolkit documents.
- Ensure Brand documents serve as essential references for internal stakeholders and external partners in creative endeavors.
Align across the business a consistent brand governance model; providing clear status updates, insights and recommendations to stakeholders for adjustments and opportunities as needed.
Production and Creative Agency Management
- Act as the primary creative liaison between Bobcat and creative agencies, fostering strong collaboration and effective communication.
- Review assets in the Brand & Marketing production process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality creative assets that align with brand objectives and set the bar for Bobcat.
- Share and reapply best-in-class brand expression and thinking across organizations based on data insights and industry trends.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in creative leadership and brand management.
- In-depth knowledge of brand guidelines, asset management, and creative campaign development.
- Ability to exercise brand stewardship and maintain creative consistency across various platforms.
- Experience in working cross-functionally and cross-departmentally at all levels of individuals in the business as well as external partners to build alignment.
- Strong project management skills as well as follow-through and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to interact with and influence internal and external colleagues across different departments with varying priorities; strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to independently resolve problems in an effective, diplomatic manner.
- Experience building brand awareness using a variety of techniques to bring brands from unknown to a well-known brand in the industry.
- Travel: up to 20%; with a primary focus on North America and a secondary focus on global regions.
