Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Office Assistant to support both our front-office operations and our sales development initiatives. This hybrid role blends administrative tasks with outbound business development, digital content creation, and marketing support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for engaging content, and the confidence to contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support
- Manage front desk activities including greeting visitors and handling incoming calls
- Provide general office coordination and administrative support
- Schedule and book meetings for consultants and team members across time zones
Sales Development
- Conduct outbound cold calls and email outreach to potential clients
- Present tailored tooling and engineering solutions with clarity and confidence
- Expand Harcourt’s digital presence by growing LinkedIn networks (20+ new contacts/week/account)
- Track outreach progress and collaborate with the sales team on lead follow-ups
Marketing & Content Creation
- Capture and edit photography and visuals for social media and internal use
- Develop promotional email content, LinkedIn posts, and light marketing copy
- Contribute creative ideas for ongoing social media campaigns and brand engagement
- Publish content across multiple platforms and report performance insights
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, Lightroom, InDesign
- Skilled in photo editing, photography, and basic graphic design
- Strong writing and content development abilities
Professional Traits
- Effective communicator and confident decision-maker
- Organized, proactive, and self-driven, especially in remote settings
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across departments
- Experience in marketing, communications, or a front-facing customer service role is a plus
Language
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Additional languages a plus, but not required
