WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Making regular emails and phone calls
- Recording data from interactions like case outcomes and satisfaction scores
- Connecting dissatisfied customers with sales and/or project teams
- Gauging clients’ interest in testimonial interviews and return business
Event Planning & Logistics
- Prepare a master overview and budget for each show
- Schedule kick-off and status meetings with marketing team and cross-departmental stakeholders
- Logistical tasks, including exhibit booth selection, booking flights, hotel reservations, and rideshare/rental car(s)
- Assist with payments to shows for exhibit booths and exhibitor services
- Help to pack and prepare booth equipment (e.g., tables, monitors, backdrop(s), etc.)
- Track and inventory tradeshow hardware, including backdrops, tables, swag, etc.
- Collaborate with team to organize our own events and event series
- Setting up Zoom webinars for owned CLE presentations
Marketing Research, Strategy & Planning
- Maintain research spreadsheet of competitors
- Maintain research and calendar of upcoming trade shows/events
- Maintain an archive of pricing options for new promotional swag
Administrative
- Postage and shipping
- Procurement of marketing materials (e.g., plaques, swag, print collateral, etc.)
- Fielding and directing incoming phone calls
Finally, we are a fairly small company. This role supports a Marketing Project Coordinator and the CMO. We all wear many hats, so there will likely be other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (Communication, public relations, marketing, or related field a plus but not required)
- Minimum 5 years in marketing, communications, customer success, or event planning.
- Customer success certification a plus
- Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High comfort level with business phone calls, video calls, and emails.
- Exhibits conceptual knowledge of company identity, mission, and goals.
- Ability to think both creatively and analytically.
- Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, with great follow-up and reporting skills.
- Responds well under pressure with strict time limits.
- Quick and enthusiastic learner.
